THE FASTEST-GROWING GLOBAL WOMEN’S NETWORK IS A
VOICE FOR THE WOMEN OF THE WORLD
Announcing The WIN Global Women’s Initiative 2012 – 2013
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, USA. The Women’s Information Network (The WIN) is officially announcing “The WIN Global Women’s Initiative 2012 – 2013.” Their intentions are to share the voices of the women of the world with leaders at the community, national, and international levels worldwide during 2012 and 2013.
Ambassador Mokhtar Lamani, former Permanent Observer to the United Nations and a very supportive advocate of women rights, helped Dr. Paula Fellingham, Founder of The WIN, apply to receive status with the United Nations ECOSOC (the Economic and Social Council) as an international NGO working to strengthen women and families worldwide by organizing events and offering programs and projects internationally. The application was presented to the correct department and is currently going through a legal process with subcommittees and committees, as explained on the U.N. website (http://www.un.org/en/) and hopefully the decision will be taken during the coming meeting of the ECOSOC. Ambassador Lamani remarked, “Once the status is recognized it will open many doors and establish a long term strategy making WIN move internationally and having a great impact on our mutual goal: to make positive changes in human societies by strengthening women and families worldwide.”
The WIN, designed for all women, all ages, all cultures and beliefs, is inviting women in 176 nations to let their voices be heard during Global Women’s Summits. At these events, presented by The WIN, attendees hear from experts, discuss important women’s issues related to the Global Women’s Initiative, and enjoy entertainment and lunch. Additionally, Global Women’s Summit participants learn ways to strengthen themselves personally, in their families, and in their businesses. See www.GlobalWomensSummits.com for more information.
The WIN is gathering the ideas and opinions of women worldwide related to the 3 “talking points” of the Global Women’s Initiative. They are doing this with the intention of sharing the voices of the women of the world – from hundreds of Global Women’s Summits – with local, national, and international leaders.
The WIN CEO Paula Fellingham remarked, “Through live events, online audio and video shows presented by experts, and our many programs and humanitarian projects, The WIN is fulfilling our mission to strengthen women and families worldwide through education, enlightenment, and entrepreneurship, in an effort to eradicate illiteracy, poverty, and hunger, and to increase the level of kindness, prosperity and peace on earth. We invite and welcome all women to learn more about our caring community of women helping women live our best lives.”
